Mr. Darwish kicked off his speech by briefing the guests about the Suez Canal Economic Zone. Mr. Darwish mentioned that the SC Zone is an “investor-friendly environment” that will act as an outline for future national development. Mr. Darwish’s speech discussed opportunities for investors such as maritime, industry, and energy.

Before concluding his speech, Mr. Darwish discussed all four regional strategies and investment opportunities in Ain Sokhna, East Port Said, West Qantara, and Technology valley.

Finally, Mr. Darwish identified the four pillars of sustainability: economic, operational, environmental, and social.
